Theatre on Ice Academy is a Non-for-profit performing arts academy where you will learn to SING! ACT! & SKATE LIVE! You will work with our highly-trained coaches and tutors to produce high quality shows that you, your family and friends can enjoy. The academy was created from a shared passion for ice skating and performing arts. We want to break the barrier and bring the live theatre experience to the ice. Here at Theatre On Ice Academy we want fill our members with confidence and the skills so that they can step into any creative industry, whether that be in acting, singing or show skating!
MEET THE TEAM

Carlos Byles
Founder, CEO & DSL
Carlos Byles is an Actor, who has not only acted in but has directed, written and composed films, plays and musicals. Carlos has a huge passion for the arts and Ice skating and is passionate about combining the two worlds together. Carlos has successfully completed training at The BRIT school’ where he was studying theatre in performing arts.
Carlos has been in several productions including ‘Soho theatre’s West Ends’ Citizenship, Theatre Royal Stratford East ‘One Night Only’ , Martin Mcdonagh’s ‘Pillowman’, Shakespeare ‘Julius Ceaser’ and most recently appeared in Robin Hood as Robin Hood. Carlos has made multiple on screen appearances with a recent Netflix debut, appearing in the new season of 'Top Boy' .
Outside of the acting industry, Carlos has traveled the world and the nation competing in synchronised skating since the age of 6, where he used to train with lee valley skating club. Carlos has sinced go on to progress in his skating career and has made his way up to an official role


Wrenay Mittra

Wiktoria Olejniczak
Assistant Manager & Costume lead
Wrenay Mittra is Software Engineer at NatWest Markets. Here at Theatre On Ice Academy, Wrenay will be overseeing our financial spends and ensuring we purchase cost effective, ethically sourced materials that are environmentally friendly for every part of the business.
Wrenay believes there is a need for the work we do.
Wrenay enjoy's supporting other peers and sharing his knowledge about the apprenticeship schemes and contacts that can enable other young people to access employment opportunities.
Wiktoria brings a strong team ethic and motivation in bonding from her 6 years experience as a synchronised ice skater. Wiktoria trains at Lee Valley Ice Centre and has been competing Nationally and Internationally for 6 years. She has most recently competed in Belgium at the Ice Crystal Trophy.

Wiktoria enjoys all the hard work that it takes in order for her to be a national and international competing athlete. Synchro allows her to travel with team mates and make memories that last a life time.

As well as skating, Wiktoria also does ballroom and Latin dancing. where she also reached a high standard.
​
Wiktoria has a passion and skill in custom designs, which has allowed her to create her own company Custom Studio 21.

OUR TUTORS

Hannah Theophile
Acting, Singing & Dance Tutor
Hannah Theophile trained in musical theatre from 8 years old. Hannah studied and graduated from The BRIT School in 2020.
She has since become a manager of a theatre school and teaches performing arts in schools across London and Essex.
Hannah has written and directed mini musicals as well as performed in various shows and tv programmes.
Hannah has a passion for the arts and inspiring other people’s creative journeys.

Emily-Rose Damerer
Singing & Dance Tutor
Emily-Rose Damer trained in performing arts at Italia Conti.
Emily-Rose was an assistant principle at a theatre school.

Emily-Rose has Performed in multiple shows favorites such as Les Miserables, West Side Story also landed leading roles in Hairspray as Tracy Turnblade & Amber Vontussle. She was also second lead choreographer in the Essex group's production of Suessical the musical. Emily is LAMDA qualified.
Emily-Rose have a passion for teaching and developing performance skills & confidence.

Sofia Genuise
Acting & Singing Tutor
Sofia is a theatre practitioner and performer with a lifelong dedication to the stage. A graduate of Queen Mary University of London with a degree in Drama, she has immersed herself in theatre from an early age, developing a wide range of skills in performance, devising, and creative collaboration. She also holds two LAMDA qualifications, reflecting her strong grounding in both classical and contemporary performance.
Alongside her own practice, Sofia has over two years’ experience teaching children in the performing arts, where she nurtures creativity and builds confidence in the next generation of performers. Her work blends technical precision with imaginative exploration, allowing her to create both engaging performances and dynamic rehearsal spaces

Georgia Kuznetsova
Eron has years of skating experience and has successfully competed as an international free skater and ice dancer. He represented Great Britain for over 8 years and most recently represented Australia at competitions around the world with dance partner India Netté.

Eron and India are the 2022 Australian Ice Darice Senior
Champions and international medallists and were
2022 Olympic reserves. While competing, Eron has worked with skaters and coaches of World and Olympic level throughout Asia, North America and Europe.
Eron has also skated in ice shows and worked as a professional skater for the music industry.
​
He is passionate about all forms of skating, whether you like hockey or free skating, dance, or show skating. Eron enjoys teaching all ages and abilities.

Eron will be teaching SKATING at our adult academy.
​
Elly has over a decade of experience on the ice and is a qualified coach in both Australia and the UK.
Born in Adelaide, Australia, she has been competitively skating since the age of twelve. From a young age, Elly fell in love with ice skating and would spend many school holidays at the local rink, before finally starting her competitive career.
During her career, Elly has received numerous podium places, including a national and international gold medal in Synchronised Ice Skating.
More recently she has performed for Delice Ice shows in France and loved the chance to perform in front of crowds. As well as stunt doubling for Florence Pugh in Studio Canal’s 2024 film “We Live in Time”.
